  Excellent food.  We have been here a dozen times in the last year, and always have excellent food and service.  We love the crab enchiladas and the enchiladas suiza.  Tonight I had the carne ranchera.  It was phenomenal.  The meat was tender and flavorful, the cheese enchilada was delicious, and the tortillas were soft and fresh.  The best waitress and bartender, Michelle, makes excellent mixed drinks, and refIlls the chips and delicious salsa.  We eat Mexican food often, and have not found a better shrimp cocktail anywhere.  The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and sports game requests are honored.  We highly recommend Sombrero's.

  I have been wanting to try this place for awhile since it is local and a small business. When we sat down we were immediately helped, and given chips and salsa. I will say, I was a little scared while eating the chips and salsa bc the salsa was bland and chips were greasy (but warm which was a plus). We then ordered guacamole and margaritas. The margaritas were so yummy, and definitely a bang for your buck! Then the guacamole came out, and I had hope again. The guacamole had so much flavor, it just seemed a little small for the price. Then we got our food, and I was so happy with it. The chimichangas was so flavorful and the perfect proportion. It was one of the better chimichangas I've had in awhile. My bf got the ranchera enchiladas and said they were good but nothing special. Because of the service, margaritas, fantastic prices, and well flavored food we will be back.

  4th time there and Love it as much as the first time!!! This will be our "go to Mexican " food restaurant closest to home !!! After running errands we decided to stop for an appetizer and drinks and I had a taste for Mexican food and it was on the way (usually go to Enrique's in LB or La Capilla in (La Palma).
  
  We had thee most AHMAZING customer service provided by Valerie!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was a ONE WOMAN Staff other than the cooks!! Valerie  was Hostess, Bartender, Server, and Cashier and she's a  SWEETHEART and provided us with 5 plus stars of Exceptional customer service!!!!!!  
  
  There were two men at the bar and one table with 3 men then another couple came in about 30 minutes after us and even though it got busy and we had a longer wait for food it didn't bother us because of Valerie being by herself and still provided EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
  
  We ordered appetizer plate to "eat in" and did Takeout of Albondigas soup, Chile Verde plate and Street Tacos all are DELISH and I have lunch or dinner for two days!!
  
  I hope the owner APPRECIATES Valerie and knows how VALUABLE she's as an Employee!!! In these days you're lucky if you get DECENT Customer Service unless you're in a High End establishment and Valerie made our Dining experience TRULY WONDERFUL!!!!!

  Love Taco Tuesday!  
  
  They got specials for street tacos and hard shell.
  This place is like "Cheers" where everyone knows your name. Friendly and clean, staff are friendly. Always get served crispy chips & salsa. They got a spicer green one if you want more kick to your food.
  Mexican pizza is really good here too.
  They got a Happy hour from 3-6
  Great place to hang out
  Or have a quick bite or even come watch whatever sports game is on.

  I do love this place. But truly, it needs to be consistent.  I wish the best for it, but have consistent hours, pricing and service.
